What material is the Yaytray made of?
The Yaytray is made of PP (Polypropylene), while the lid of the bowl is made of food-grade silicone.
Are the Yaytray's materials (PP & silicone) recyclable?
Yes, the Yaytray's materials are recyclable.
What plastic number type is PP (Polypropylene)?
Polypropylene is plastic number 5.
What are the dimensions of the Yaytray?
When Closed: 19cm (L) x 19cm (W) x 6.5cm (H)

How heavy is the Yaytray Deluxe?
The Yaytray Deluxe has a net weight of 550 grams.
How long can the Yaytray keep food warm?
It can typically keep food warm for up to 1 hour. However, timings may vary depending on the nature of food and how hot the food is to begin with.
Is the Yaytray microwave & dishwasher safe?
Yes, it is microwave & dishwasher safe, although we do not recommend placing the Yaytray and its component parts in the microwave too frequently. It is advisable to heat your food in a separate apparatus before transferring the food onto the Yaytray.
Is the Yaytray leak-proof?
The Yaytray has been designed such that when the bowl & lid are placed in the inner tray and the entire Yaytray is closed and properly locked, it is able to contain most kinds of baby foods & solids without leaking. However, when it comes to pure liquids (e.g. water, clear soup), the Yaytray may not be 100% leak proof if the entire Yaytray is shaken vigorously.
Can the entire Yaytray be placed in a steam sterilizer?
No. We do not advise placing the entire Yaytray in a steam sterilizer as some steam sterilizers may have very high heat and may melt the Yaytray's component parts. If absolutely necessary, only the bowl & silicone lid should be placed in a steam sterilizer. However, in general we advise against placing the Yaytray in a steam sterilizer.
Can the entire Yaytray be placed in a UV sterilizer?
Yes, it is safe to place the Yaytray and all its component parts in a UV sterilizer.
What safety certifications does the Yaytray have?
The Yaytray is certified by SGS to be BPA-free, phthalate-free & heavy metal-free. It is also certified by SGS to be FDA, LFGB, CPSIA & EU Commission Regulation compliant.
Can the entire Yaytray be dismantled for cleaning?
Yes, it can. There is a slit at the base of the Yaytray which can be turned by using a coin (or similar object). Once that is turned, the entire base of the Yaytray can be removed from the upper tray (bowl insert) so that it is possible to wash all the inner parts of the Yaytray as well.
